Guidelines for respectful and constructive participation in the community.
Anomalous Experiences is a space for discussing unusual experiences.
To keep the community respectful and constructive, all users must follow these guidelines.
Respect other members
Many users share personal experiences that may be emotional or meaningful to them.
Do not:
- mock or ridicule personal experiences
- harass or insult other users
- attack individuals
Disagree respectfully
Different interpretations are welcome.
Skeptical perspectives, scientific explanations, and alternative views are encouraged.
However, disagreement must remain respectful.
No harassment or abuse
The following behaviour is not allowed:
- bullying
- personal attacks
- hate speech
- threats or intimidation
No spam or promotion
Posts created primarily to promote products, services, or external businesses are not allowed.
Repeated self promotion may result in account suspension.
No illegal content
Do not post:
- illegal material
- copyrighted content without permission
- personal information about others
Use groups appropriately
Groups are designed to organize discussions.
Please post content in the group most relevant to the topic of your post.
Report problematic content
If you encounter content that violates the rules, please report it using the report option on the post.
Reports help moderators maintain a healthy community.
Moderation actions
Moderators may take the following actions when rules are violated:
- remove content
- issue a warning
- temporarily suspend an account
- permanently ban an account
Moderation decisions
Moderation decisions are made to protect the community and maintain respectful discussion.
Account responsibility
Users are responsible for the content they publish.
Do not create multiple accounts to evade moderation.
Guidelines may evolve
As the community grows, these guidelines may be updated to maintain a healthy environment for discussion.
